AIRLANDER - NEW FORM OF AIR TRAVEL

- Now under development in the UK, Airlander is a huge, helium powered airship that is a very advanced technology blimp, designed to be configured for passengers, cargo & more
- Innovated by Hybrid Air Vehicles, Airlander is set to become operational in 2025 or early 2026
- It's faster than a ship, easier to fuel than an aircraft - plus it is energy efficient
- According to the company, it can reach zero emissions travel faster than any other form of transportation
- Range: 4600 miles
- Top Speed: 80 mph
- Power: 40% of lift comes from aerodynamic design; helium & 4 engines now running on jet fuel but will go electric/green
- Emissions: 75% less than a similar sized plane
- Potential Uses:
- Luxury travel with 16 cabins, bar & restaurant
- Cruise vehicle for 100 passengers
- Cargo & transit vehicle for up to 11 tons
- Alternative to regional plane flights
- Next Airships: Airship 50 capable of carrying 55 tons and Airship 200, capable of 220 tons.
TOYOTA'S BIG SURPRISE: NEW C-HR

- Toyota surprised the automotive world with the announcement that it will be launching a new C-HR compact crossover next year in hybrid and PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) models
- The EV design is dramatic, was created in Europe, caters to European tastes & will be manufactured in Turkey
- Key details:
- Compact crossover
- Very aerodynamic design
- Bi-color paint design
- Panoramic glass roof
- Diamond cut headlights all around the exterior
- 3 electrified powertrains: 1.8 liter, 2.0 liter hybrids and 2.0 liter plug in hybrid
- Range: 66 miles on electric power
- Cockpit: wraparound wing design with 12.3" touchscreen & Toyota Smart Connect multimedia package

FUTURE OF AI & CHILDREN'S TOYS
- The future of generative AI and the impact of it on the development of young children through AI enabled toys is loaded with tremendous potential & risk
- VTech Holdings CEO Allan Wang, which specializes in toys & electronic learning aids for kids, told The Financial Times that by 2028 little kids will be playing with AI Teddy Bears
- AI bears will know the child's name and the names of their school, family, friends plus their interests, sports & activities
- AI bears will be able to create and read to a young child a personalized bedtime story at night
- And Wang believes toys will be talking back and forth with kids
- Like Tesla CEO Elon Musk and other tech execs, Wang wants AI to be managed to avoid risks to personal privacy and security particularly when it is interacting with children
- Vice President Kamala Harris, who leads President Biden's policy on AI, has told tech companies that they "have a legal responsibility to make sure their products are safe".
